I used different sizes for my table runner. I layered the doilies into the shape that I wanted, and I hot glued the edges together.

My lantern was ready for display.

How To Update A Lantern

I found this old lantern at a thrift store, and with a little love, I turned I revamped it. I also found a way to change it up every season with a fun new twist. I’ll show you how I updated this lantern and its yellowing candle. You can find the full tutorial at How To Update A Lantern

I used some paint that was meant for glass, painted on a snowman face, and followed the instructions for cure time. You can see my full snowman mug tutorial and I will show how I turned it into a fun gift as well.
I made several candles as snowmen. I painted faces on all of them. They ranged from left to right a small jar candle, a large jar candle, a tall skinny candle, and an LED candle. I had some fabric so I cut out little pieces to add scarves to the candles and made a hat for the large candle, as well as a little coaster for the small candle.
I added a dollar store hat onto the top of the block, and I used a rubberband to create a little ball on top. I love this as a nightlight in our bathroom.
I added the stuffing to the pillow cover and I love how this little no sew pillow turned out.

I added the pillow to the pillowcase and placed it on our couch.
I hot glued all my wooden Hearts to a little kite string and hung this by the mantel.
Here you'll see my doily table runner in addition to that I had some of the extra doilies and I use them as place settings.

March St. Patrick’s Day Winter Crafts for Adults and Kids

That was it - easy Valentine's & St. Patrick's Day Decor! Now the great thing is, if and when I decide - I can simply pull the sticker back off and use the mirror plain.
I have mine hanging on my front door. You could just use it for St. Patrick's Day or leave it up year around.
Since St. Patrick’s Day is coming I am using shamrock gel window clings that I got from Dollar Tree.
Continue putting the other 3 hearts on to complete the clover shape.
Place the Wall Sticker directly on the glass. I didn't use the contact paper for this one.

Other winter craft For Adults and Kids ideas:

  • Paint a mason jar with mod podge and roll it in Epsom salt to make a snowy candle holder and luminaries.
  • Make snow globes or find it balls for some winter fun.
  • Use a woodburning tool and make some wood slice coasters.
  • Make some scarves out of fleece fabric. No sewing needed
  • Grab ribbon or yarn and make a warm fuzzy wreath
  • Make several items using a pinecone. These are great for wreaths, garlands, etc.
