Today I am going to teach you how to make an Easter wreath or spring wreath.  To start this project you’re going to need just a few craft supplies from the dollar tree.

I picked up a dollar store hat that will serve as the wreath base, some ribbon, and some faux flowers.   You'll also need some felt or you can use a package of pre-cut felt pieces.

You'll need to either cut some white felt bunny ears or cut the ears off of a felt bunny instead.

Bunny Wreath instructions

1. Cut bunny Ears for your wreath

You’ll need to either cut some white felt bunny ears or cut the ears off of a felt bunny instead.

I pulled the pink inserts off and placed them onto the white ears.  You could cut this out of felt as well.  I glued the pink felt onto the white felt to complete the ears.

Next, grab your hat.  I've placed my ears where I want them to go and I'm going to hot glue them into place on the hat.

2. Glue the bunny ears to the hat

I'm taking a wide blue ribbon and I'm measuring it and cutting it to the size of the hat. I then hot glue the ribbon onto the hat so it stays in place.

3. Add Ribbon to your hat

I'm going to take a second, thinner ribbon and cut it to size and hot glue that into place as well, but I'm going to leave a little excess with this one. You could also use yarn if you prefer.

This is a stem of fake flowers and I'm going to go remove the blossoms and the leaves from the stem.  I'm going to place the flowers on the top of the hat and arrange them the way I want them.  I will then glue them into place.

4. Pull the stems and leaves off a faux bouquet & Glue to The Hat

Next, I will make the bunny face. If you have pre-cut pieces you can use those or cut felt pieces for the face. You could also make the bunny face using markers, buttons, or anything you like. I'm going to take some plain white felt and cut three thin pieces for whiskers.

I will lay out the face so I know where exactly where I want everything before I glue it down. Now that everything's in place I will use my hot glue gun to glue it all into place. You can use any glue of your choice.

With some of the extra ribbon, I'm going to make a little bow and additional ribbon hanging from the bottom of the hat.  I am adding flowers around the hat and a little bit of the greenery for spring. Once that is where I want it I will glue everything into place. The felt bunny came with a little bow and I thought it was cute so I'm going to tuck it in behind the flowers.

6. Add Accessories like a bow, extra Greenery, etc.

Here is the adorable easter bunny wreath and now we're ready to get it hung up. This hat happened to come with a little piece of elastic so I'm just going to hang it on a magnetic hook on my front door using the elastic.
