What is the difference between a crockpot and slow cooker?
Tasting Table has a great article to read. Basically a crockpot is a brand name of a slow cooker. There are many brands of slow cookers out there.
Slow cookers also come in a variety of sizes. Anything from a mini slow cooker great for dips, to a large size slow cooker that can hold a large chicken along with vegetables. You can also move up to a roaster which is very similar to a slow cooker and it great for turkeys.

Slow Cooker Recipes
Black Bean Soup
Do you like easy recipes? Me too!!! Our family loves this easy black bean soup recipe. I love that it is inexpensive to make, you can double the batch, and you can freeze it.
Roasted Tomato Basil Soup
This is our favorite and only roasted tomato and basil soup we’ll eat. I LOVE tomatoes but my family only likes them when they’re cooked in things like pizza sauce or spaghetti. This however, they all get excited about when I make it. It’s SUPER easy, and no sugar!!!

Chas, this looks delicious! I’ve never seen a recipe for this in a slow cooker, so I’m so happy to see it. I love to use my slow cooker as often as I can. Makes life simpler! Thanks for sharing it at TFT!
