How To Make a Dollar Tree Wreath Materials
For this project, I used dollar tree supplies. Our supply list is short, you will just need a dollar tree wreath form and some Dollar Store mops.

How To Make a Dollar Tree Wreath instructions
1. Remove all of the tags
All of these wreath forms come with a little plastic tag. I’m going to leave that to hang the wreath with, but I’m going to remove the tag. I’m going to remove all of the tags from the mops as well.
2. cut all of the mops in half
I am going to fold each mop head in half and cut them using fabric scissors. So I will have two pieces from each mop head. For this project, I bought four mops, so I have eight pieces.
3. Hot glue all of the mop pieces to the wreath form
I begin by placing my wreath base upside down and placing my first piece of the mop on one side of the hanger. I will use a hot glue gun to secure the mop to the top and bottom wire and wait for it to cool. Notice I am leaving the center open for another step to come later. Continue hot gluing all the pieces in place around the wreath form.
4. Add LED lights to the center of the wreath from
I have a set of battery LED lights that I will add to the back of the wreath frame. I am going to wrap the extra cord around the switch and just place it in the center of one of the pieces of the mop so I can get to it later. I am going to place the LED lights in the open middle section of the mops, going all the way around the wire wreath form.
You could hot glue the lights if you like, but then you’re not going to be able to change the LEDs if you want to down the road so it’s really up to you. I’m closing the gap in the mops around the lights.
You could stop here with your Dollar Tree Wreath
When you flip it around to the front side you can give it a little fluff to add some texture and close up any gaps you find. You can use hot glue to close the gaps if you like.
You could stop here if you want, but I’m going to add some embellishments.
5. Add embellishments to your wreath
I am adding silver and blue bulbs. I will just place them around the wreath until I get them how I like them. It’s time to hot glue them into place and you can glue them so the stem is showing or not, it’s really up to you. You will need to use a generous dab of hot glue and stick each bulb down into the mop head. Let those cool completely before moving on.
I kind of like Jingle Bells and adding the gold color so I’m going to add bells all the way around. Just use a glue dot for each bell. This is going on my front door so it will jingle when guests arrive. You can personalize this by adding a piece of ribbon or bow. I’m a fan of buffalo checks so you could get creative and either wrap the scarf around or make a bow. Just get creative with it.
Okay so it’s all ready and we’re gonna go hang it up! I love how the lights shine through the front of the wreath.
You can use this same idea and dollar store supplies to make seasonal wreaths. Add fall leaves to a grapevine wreath to make an autumn wreath or add seashells to make a summer wreath. The possibilities are endless.
I have several more to show you, so please keep scrolling
