How do you make a wine glass candle holder? I created a snowman and reindeer candle holder for the holidays that I wanted to share with you.

I started with 2 oversized wine glass from the dollar store.

I poured Pledge Floor Cleaner into the glass. You could alternatively use hairspray or Mod Podge.

I twisted the glass around so that the whole inside was coated with the cleaner. I dumped the remaining amount in the other glass.

I repeated the same process with the 2nd wine glass only using gold glitter this time.

I bought a scarf from the dollar store, and cut a rectangle strip of fabric from it. I hot glued that fabric around the wine glass creating a hat. I used a rubber band to make the ball at the top, and I cut little slits in the fabric sticking out on top to create a little ball.

I never even thought about using pledge to adhere glitter. How clever, and the end results for all three craft projects are darling.
Just yesterday, I was thinking I have way too many wine glasses, and should I cart them to Good Will, or keep them.
Now I know what to do 😉
Thanks for the inspiration and a very Merry Christmas to you!
    hugs,

Chas, very cute way to use the inexpensive wine glasses from the dollar store. I know furniture cleaner is sticky, but I never imagined that it could be used like glue. Reallu creative. Happy Holidays.
