Do you want to make an easy lemon wreath? I made this easy and fun wreath with items from Dollar Tree for under $5!

Do you want to make an easy pizza pan wreath? I have an easy and fun wreath idea made with simple supplies from Dollar Tree for under $5! I love a good diy project and finding creative ways to use items from the local dollar tree store. I wanted to try my hand at making door hangers for each new season and have been thinking about spring wreaths. I found a budget-friendly way to make a fun pizza pan wreath using dollar store items. So, let’s get started!

I started with a pizza pan from Dollar Tree. Now to be honest, this pizza pan was actually one of my old ones and I had updated to a new one for my kitchen. I cleaned it up and got it ready to paint.

Supply List for a lemon Pizza Pan wreath.

  • Pizza Pan
  • White Paint
  • Yellow Paint – 2 shades
  • Galvanized Word
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Burlap Ribbon
  • Twine
  • Paint Brush

Here are the Steps to make your pizza pan wreath

I started with a dollar tree pizza pan. Now, to be honest, this pizza pan was actually one of the old ones I had left after I bought a new pizza tray. The first thing I did was clean it up and got it ready to paint.

I spray painted the pizza pan with some white spray paint I had on hand from other projects. It was a paint and primer all in one so I was able to cover it in one coat. I let that dry completely before moving on.

For the next step, I spray-painted the pizza pan with some white spray paint I had on hand from other projects. It was a paint and primer all in one so I was able to cover it in one coat. I let that dry completely before moving on.

Once the white paint dried, I use a pencil to draw a lemon design onto my pizza pan.

I used a yellow permanent marker to color in the edge of the pizza pan. This was just to show that you can opt to use permanent markers or paint. Whichever one you prefer.

I used a yellow permanent marker to color the rim of the pizza pan. Using permanent markers is a great way to make this unique wreath if you prefer that over paint. Whichever you prefer.

I used Apple Barrel Multi Surface Lemon paint to color in the lemon segments on the pizza pan. After all of the sections painted, I let that dry completely.

I used a soft bristle brush and applied some Apple Barrel Multi Surface Sunflower paint to add some dimension and texture to the lemon sections. You could add some seeds into this step if you want.

I cut a section of twine, made a knot to create a loop, and I hot glued it onto the back of the pizza pan so I would be able to hang the lemon wreath up.

I hot glued a galvanized "welcome" word onto the front of the pizza pan. You can find these galvanized words at a lot of stores, and I found mine in a set of 3 at Dollar Tree. They sell different sets of 3 during the seasons at the store.

I made a bow out of some burlap ribbon I had from other projects and I hot glued it onto the Dollar Tree Wreath.

I'll be hanging this on my front door that is under a covered porch. You could hang it inside or out. If you want to hang it outside and it will be exposed to the elements, I recommend coating the pizza pan with dishwasher safe Mod Podge before adding the galvanized word and ribbon.

Could you come up with some ideas of what to put in the vase at the graves . My family always decorate the graves with flowers every year. I would like something to go with the flowers this year. Not something over the top because people will steal it. Yes sad to say they do do

What an adorable wreath, Chaz! I’ve got an old pizza pan that needs to be retired. Now I know what to do with it instead of putting it in the recycle bin.

This would look so cute with a sprig or piece of faux greens of some kind on it as well!
