Candle Holder to Tea Cup Holder – 3 Options

Outdoor

Share it with others!

I love tea cups and I love thrift stores. When I found this old candle holder I knew by adding some tea cups to it I could create 3 options of how to use it.

You’ll need:

A candle holder (thrift store)
Tea Cups (thrift store)

Options – bird seeds, solar lights, candles/battery operated tea lights.

My candle holder I found was missing the glass and happened to be a hanging candle holder. You can do this with standing holders too…
Place your tea cups into the circles where the candle holders went.

Place battery operated tea lights in the cups and you have a new candle holder.

Place solar lights inside and you have a tea cup solar holder.

Place birdseed in some of the cups and water in another and you have a new bird feeder.

One old candle holder and have 3 new options by just adding some tea cups.

As seen on Hometalk Live – you can watch it by clicking the photo below:

Such a cute idea, Chas! I really need to hit some thrift stores to see if I can find new treasures. πŸ™‚

Thank you Linda ? It’s fun to make something new out of something that was broken or needs a β€œrefresh”. You know the saying – a person’s junk is another person’s treasure ?

Love your ideas for the candleholder and glass tea cups. One of the few elegant recycles I have seen!

These are some great ideas. I need a new birdfeeder but I also need new solar lights so it would be hard for me to decide how to use this. Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty
