How To Make A Super Cute Boo Boo Bunny Easily
What is a boo boo bunny? Boo boo bunnies are a comfort toy for young children to help soothe boo boos. They are basically a fun ice pack! They are a fun and easy DIY project and make the perfect baby shower gifts or decorations at a baby shower. This easy gift is great for kids and grandkids and even better, kids can get in on the fun and help make this project too!

How do you make a Boo Boo Bunny Ice Pack?
Here are the materials you’ll need to make a washcloth bunny
- A washcloth
- A Plastic Egg
- 2 googly eyes
- 1 small pom pom or small cotton ball
- A piece of ribbon
- 2 rubber bands
- Hot glue or glue of your choice
- Optional freezable or reusable ice cubes
- Optional permanent marker
Here are the instructions on how to make your boo boo bunny:
Step 1: Roll Washcloth
First, place the washcloth on a flat surface and roll 2 corners of the washcloth into the center.
Step 2: First Fold
Fold in half and put a rubber band around the center.
Step 3: Second Fold to Form Head and Ears
Fold the corners up to form the head and ears and use a rubber band to hold loose ends in place.
Step 4: Glue Googly Eyes, Nose, and Whiskers
Glue on the eyes and nose. Add whiskers for a more adorable look. Mark the location with a permanent marker if needed. Use a hot-glue gun or glue or your choice.
Step 5: Add Ribbon
Tie a ribbon into a bow around the neck to hide the rubber band.
Step 6: Freeze Ice Cubes
Freeze your reusable ice cubes.
Step 7: Add Ice or Treat to Egg
Place your reusable ice cubes into the plastic egg. Or your desired treat if not using it for “boo-boos.” Close the egg.
When looking for ice cubes look for distilled water inside just in case it leaks. You’ll also want to hand wash the ice cubes and eggs, they’re not dishwasher safe.
Step 8: Position Egg
Place the egg in the center of the bunny.
Use different colored wash clothes for different colored bunnies.
To use as an ice pack, hold the bunny and ice cubes over the “injury” and it’ll feel better soon. A regular ice cube will work in the egg, too. Use the washcloth bunny to absorb the water as the ice melts.

How To Make A Bunny For Boo Boos Q & A

For toddlers and small children, a boo boo bunny is a cute way to soothe tears that come from common scrapes, bumps, and bruises. Keep boo boo bunnies in your first-aid kit to immediately grab to apply ice to minor injuries. Boo boo bunnies are a quick project but offer more than just a way to ice a small child’s bruise. The cute and comforting bunny design is appealing to young children, helping to distract and comfort them while hurt or even just have an itch.
