Are you wondering how to clean your house in 2 hours without breaking a sweat? I have several tips, tricks, and hacks for you!

We’re going to go over the best way to clean house. You don’t have to be a professional cleaner to get your house cleaning done. Turn that messy house into a clean home in less time and give you extra time to do things you love.

This post is in collaboration with Yeedi. All thoughts and opinions are my own.  A big thanks to Yeedi for the yeedi vac 2 pro.

How to clean your house in 2 hours instructions

1. keep the house picked up

Half of the battle when cleaning is getting the house ready to be cleaned. The first thing you’ll want to do is start prepping your home now and on a regular basis to be efficient with your time. Get those dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and dirty clothes picked up and in the washing machine and start a load of laundry or place the clothes in a laundry basket in the laundry room, pick up the living room, and dining room, so we can clean the entire house. If we keep up with the house on a regular basis, we’re not wasting hours prepping it. You’ll be amazed at the amount of time you’ll save by doing this simple step. Cleaning time will become much easier and faster too.

Let's talk about your vacuum cleaner! One of the things that can save you the most time is investing in a robot vacuum and mop. This is the easiest way to clean the whole house and saves a lot of time.

2. Use a combination robot vacuum and mop

Let’s talk about your vacuum cleaner! One of the things that can save you the most time is investing in a robot vacuum and mop. This is the easiest way to clean the whole house and saves a lot of time. These fantastic devices work on carpet and hard surfaces like wood, tile, laminate, etc. Many robot vacuum cleaners create a map of your home and run with an app on your phone. The robot vacuum can run on its own without the map or app, it just allows you more options if you do choose to use it. I love that I can ask it to clean a single area (like the kitchen floor) or I can have it clean every room of the house.

I’m using the Yeedi and what I love about it is it cleans all of my floor types (and yes I have carpet, tile, wood, and laminate in my home). It also mops my floors as well as vacuums at the same time!

It cleans up kitchen floors, and bathroom floors, and picks up food particles, and animal hair. and dust bunnies It makes such a huge difference, and you can have it run a weekly cleaning schedule or as many times a week as you like.

I can turn on my robot and it will vacuum and mop for me so that I can clean the rest of the house while it does the work. This is a huge time saver when cleaning! This quick cleaning device is a must-have and worth the investment.

I created a basket of cleaning supplies to keep in my bathroom. This would make it easy to clean anything in my bathroom at any time.

3. Keep cleaning supplies handy

I like to keep my cleaning supplies in each bathroom, and under my kitchen sink. You can keep a basket in a cabinet with the bathroom cleaner, cleaning products, spray bottle, toilet bowl cleaner, a toilet brush, microfiber cloths, cleaning tools, glass cleaner, and your DIY all purpose cleaner. If you’re short on cabinet space you can easily make 1 tote that you can carry from room to room with all of your cleaning supplies in it.

By keeping the supplies in the room you are cleaning, or in a tote, you can clean faster and easier as you won’t be running around the house grabbing supplies, and you’ll be more efficient with your cleaning routine.

I spray the rubbing alcohol onto the mirror. I then use a Swifter mop with a reusable microfiber cloth and clean my mirrors.

4. Make Cleaning Easier Physically

I have had 2 hips surgeries and breast cancer and I have learned how to clean efficiently and be nicer to my body in the process. You can make cleaning physically easier and faster by making a few adjustments. Use extension tools like this swifter mop for reaching mirrors and windows, use a scrub brush with soap already in it to clean your sinks, and use brooms to clean baseboards and reach cobwebs. I have 8 awesome hacks that make cleaning physically easier that you might be interested in.

5. Recruit Help

When I had little kids, I used to clean the house by myself, and it was quite a chore and task. Recruit family members! As my kids got older I recruited them to help clean the house. We all live here together and everyone should work together to keep our house clean. Plus it’s a great time to teach them as someday they’ll have their own home to care for. We started simply by teaching them to clean their rooms. This then grew to learn how to clean a bathroom, kitchen, and other areas of our home.

How to clean your house in 2 hours conclusion

By using a robot vacuum mop combination you are saving time to do other cleaning tasks like cleaning your bathroom, kitchen, and dusting. These simple strategies will cut the time down on cleaning greatly. In addition to that if you make the cleaning physically easier you’ll be nicer to your body, not break a sweat, and have a much cleaner home.

I think I like recruiting help as the best option. I just have to find someone. Maybe you can lend a few kids out to me.
