Chas. My Husband and I are empty nester
. Yay! So my son’s room is now going to be my new craft room.. I found a $40 cabinet on a sale site and painted it to match my newly painted walls! I also had acquired a cute sewing desk in ugly dk brown paint so I sanded it down also painted it with my new room paint.. started to go thru and organize.. I use lots of paint beads, etc.. I can’t wait to get in it and get crafting! what a big difference a little paint makes… I love it!! ?? if I could figure out how to attach a photo I would lol..

Thank you so much for sharing your story Melody and I’m excited for you and your crafting room. It’s so fantastic to have a space to create in, and I totally appreciate that. I also am thrilled about your painting upcycles… that will make you even more excited to go into the room knowing you created it all.

That looks fabulous! I just spent part of my day re-organizing my bathroom drawers too. Thanks so much for sharing with us during Encouraging Hearts and Home. Pinned.

I love the tension rod idea! We recently sold our home and are building new, so I can’t wait to organize the drawers and closets. Thankfully, we got rid of alot before moving so I’ll have less mess going forward! #TrafficJamWeekend

Thank you Antionette and the tension rod definitely helps free up some space. It’s so nice to reduce what you have isn’t it and I love being able to find what I need with ease.

Thank you so very much Kristi, and I can totally relate. Seems like if the system doesn’t work we have to try again until we find one that finally sticks.

Thank you so much Shelley, I truly appreciate the support. It’s one of my big things to do when the kids go back to school – get my house whipped back into shape 🙂 Glad you enjoy organizing too.

Hi – Great tip about the tension rod! I will try that! I just did this with our bathroom and threw out tons of stuff we no longer use, consolidated stuff and used Dollar Tree containers as well. So far we have managed to keep it organized ! Have a great week !
