Easy Front Porch and Fall Decor

Share it with others!

As we transition from summer to fall sometimes it can be hard to decide what to put up on your porch or in your home. I took some jars, beans, and popcorn kernels, and made a simple and inexpensive display to put in your home or on your porch.

You’ll need:

4 Mason, Ball, or recycled jars – I found these mason jars on a tray on clearance at Walmart. You could easily use recycled jars for his project.

1 bag Soup Mix Beans

1 bag popcorn Kernels

Optional – Fall chalkboard tags or letter stickers

Optional – Tray

Take the lids off the 4 jars and place the soup mix beans in 2 of the jars.

I filled mine all the way up, but you can fill them partially if you like and save room for a small tealight candle. Once you get your desired amount in, place the lids back on top of those 2 jars.

Put popcorn kernels in the other 2 jars again filling them up to your desired amount and place the lids on top.

Take chalkboard tags and write the word “Fall” on them. You can opt to skip this part, use letter stickers, or paint on the letters instead.

Place your jars on display. I’m placing mine on my front porch as we transition into fall.

You could also place your jars on your mantel in your home.
