Easy Fall Decor – With a Glass Pumpkin Jar

Fall

Share it with others!

Creating a seasonal look in your home doesn’t have to be hard. Just a few simple items put together can create ambiance in your home.

Materials Needed:

A glass pumpkin jar. Mine came from Walmart, but you can find them at grocery stores, thrift shops, Amazon, etc.

A strand of lights – mine came from the Dollar Tree.

Fake leaves – mine came from the Dollar Tree.

Put some of the fake leaves on the bottom of the jar, then start to layer a little bit of the lights.

Continue creating layers until all the lights are used, and top off with leaves to hide light cords.

You will have a cord out of the top, put the lid on it, and plug it in behind the glass pumpkin.

I have had mine for years now . I leave it plugged in 24-7 and it does not get too hot.

If you decide to make one – please send me a picture. I’d love to see your creation too!

Very cute! I love anything glass with lights. I add lights to pretty large colored vases but I never thought about doing it with the clear glass containers. I love that pumpkin! Thanks for the idea. Saw it at Favorite things Thursday!

    Hi Chas,
This is awesome! We are craft twins this week. I found my Jar for a dollar and I decided to paint it. These Jars are great. I love your idea. I hope I find another one to try your version. Have a wonderful week! I found you at Thursday Favorites

Hi Lisa, thank you and I love your find and I have made one of my glass pumpkins the same way as you – but in the mercury glass style with the vinegar and water spray. Yours is so beautiful! Love that we’re twins and I’m such a huge fan of your work! Thanks for stopping by and always love to see what you’re sharing on our Grandma’s House party.
