How Command Strips work: Both sides of the clear cord clips have double-sided adhesive tape (they have instructions on them). They say which side sticks to the hook, and which side sticks to the other surface. In my instance, I’ll be sticking the “other” side to the back of the table.

In my case I had a switch that needed to be held in place on the leg. I used a regular Command Strip and placed it on the back of the switch, and the other side I peeled off the backing and stuck it to the leg.

I placed one on the back of the switch and the other on the back of the table leg.

I turned the table around, plugged in the lamp, and slid the table against the wall. Look at how easy it was to hide cords! I was even able to move the table so that the plug was hidden behind the leg as well. Now it's virtually invisible.
