Air Fried Chickpeas Recipe with Video

1 can garbanzo beans Olive Oil Salt & Pepper

Here are the ingredients for roasted chickpeas

  • 1 can garbanzo beans or can of chickpeas
  • Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Open one can of garbanzo beans and place in a strainer.  Rinse the chickpeas with water to remove all of the preservative liquid.  Let them sit for a little bit to make sure all the water has drained out.

Place the chickpeas in a bowl.  Mix in 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

Pull out and let cool completely.

If you baked them in the oven, you may need to bake longer to get to your desired crunchiness.

These air-fried chickpeas are a crisp, delicious high-protein, high-fiber snack.  They also add a great crunch to salads.
