Easy and Delicious Smashed Avocado Recipe
Is smashed avocado healthy? We love to make smashed avocado and we’ll share how we do it in our home. Plus I’ll share some of the other options you can do with this recipe.

INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED
- Avocados
- Lime juice or lemon juice if you prefer
- Salt
Here are the instructions
Slice the avocados in half and remove the pits.
Place the halved avocados in a bowl and mash with a potato masher or a fork.
Add salt and lime juice to taste. We have used regular salt, kosher salt, sea salt, or Himalayan salt and any of the mare fine.
Mix the ingredients together.
Place in a bowl and eat with chips! Store the remainder in the fridge in an airtight container.
Other smashed avocado options?
- Add some salsa to it and eat with chips
- Serve on toasted slices of bread to make avocado toast. Add smashed avocado, pepper, tomato and even pumpkin seeds.
- Serve with eggs
- Serve with any Mexican meals. Spice it up with jalapeño slices, garlic, cilantro and red onion.
- Mix with a smashed hard boiled egg for a healthy twist on egg salad
