DIY Halloween Bathroom Decor instructions
Skeleton in a bath
For this first simple project, you’re going to need some small bulbs, a skeleton, cotton balls, and a cauldron. All of these items can be found at your local dollar tree or craft store.
1. Place skeleton and cotton balls in a cauldron.
I’m going to start by placing the skeleton in the cauldron, and you can move him around
Next, I’m going to fill the cauldron. You could use plastic bags or fiberfill, but I’m going to use cotton balls. I want to get them nice and spaced out. You can put as few or as many as you want.
2. Add Halloween bulbs and ping pong balls.
Next, I want to throw in a few ping pong balls or to take it to the next level you could use plastic eyeballs or balls with googly eyes.
I will take the bulbs with the eyeballs and place them in here as well, and what I’ve created is a bubble bath for the skeleton.
buggy soap dispenser
For this next DIY project I’m using some green soap.
1. Remove all of the labels from the soap dispenser.
The first thing that I want to do is remove the label from both sides. You can easily do this just by peeling it off. Sometimes it comes off easily and sometimes it’s a bit more difficult. You may be left with a sticky residue that can easily be removed with a little coconut oil or goo gone.
2. Add spiders or bugs to the soap
Now that both sides are clean, I’m going to lift the top off. I will be using creepy plastic spiders, but you could use bugs or anything you want. I will put them inside my soap and now we have a spooky soap holder for our home.
This will be great fun for your guests at your next Halloween party.
Bleeding Candles
For our next simple DIY project I will be using a battery-operated tea light. I just need to pull the tab out at the bottom. Using a crayon is a great way to get the look of a dripping candle. I will take a crayon, and using a lighter I will melt the crayon, taking care not to hit the candle and burn it. If you keep tapping the crayon along the edge it will create drips as it melts.
Once you have the look you want, let it dry completely.
Apothecary Candle Holders
1. Print an image of creatures.
Here is another great addition to your Halloween bathroom decorations. For this project, I’m using a bud vase bowl from the dollar store.
2. Cut the image out, add a piece of fishing line and attach it to the bud vase.
I cut out an image of a bat and attached a fishing line. I then taped it to the top so that the bat will hang inside of the bowl. You could also try this with a giant spider, cute little ghosts, black cats, or any spooky Halloween creature.
3. Place a battery-operated light on a pillar candle holder, and place the bud vase upside down on the pillar candle holder
Next, I have some candle holders that I found at the thrift store. I will be using a battery-operated, color-changing, led light placing it on top here and then placing the bowl on top of the candle holder.
Now let’s get decorating.
Let’s go check out the spooky bathroom!
