When I was little we went to several weddings that had these beautiful rose-shaped mints that I just couldn’t eat enough of. I recently found a recipe for these mints, and I know putting them in a mold can be a tedious task. I decided to use my electric cookie press and make Christmas mints. You can use any disk you want for any season to create cream cheese mints for weddings, baby showers, holidays, birthdays, and more!

Ingredients for soft peppermint candy recipe
- Electric or Manual Cookie Press or candy mold
- Immersion Hand Blender (optional)
- 6 ounces Cream Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Corn Syrup
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Powdered sugar
- Food Color (optional)
- Sprinkles (optional

Start by placing 6 ounces of softened cream cheese in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of corn syrup, 1 teaspoon of peppermint syrup, and the food coloring of your choice.

Add powdered sugar into the bowl and use your Immersion Hand Blender or stir with a spoon.

Keep adding powdered sugar and mixing until soft ball forms.

Place the soft peppermint mixture into your Electric or Manual Cookie Press. You can use any disc shape you want. I’m using the Christmas tree disc, and my press comes with so many options for shapes so you can have fun with so many occasions. Place the Electric or Manual Cookie Press onto a cookie sheet and make your soft peppermint candy. Add sprinkles if desired, and place into the refrigerator to set up.

Once the cream cheese mints are set, place them in an air-tight container and keep refrigerated.
