Instructions for resin uses
1. Measure out equal parts resin and hardner
I measured equal parts of the Total Boat resin and hardener. I slowly poured both into a container together.
2. stir slowly for 3 minutes
I stirred the mixture together for 3 minutes. Be sure to stir slowly to avoid bubbles.
3. Add color, pigment, alcohol Ink, or other medium (optional)
I added some glitter into my resin and stirred it in very slowly to avoid bubbles.
5. Prep the surface that the epoxy will go on.
I purchased some utensils and I taped the top and the bottom to help keep the resin on the handle. You could use hot glue or silicone that you could peel up as well.
I placed the utensils on a baking sheet coated with wax paper.
6. Pour resin onto the surface
I poured the resin onto the utensils. I was careful to not over-pour, and I used the stir stick to place the resin where I wanted it to go.
7. Let the resin sit for 24 hours
The resin needs to cure, so I let it sit for 24 hours. Isn’t the glitter lovely?
My utensils are ready, and they can be washed in the dishwasher.
