You’ll need:

A mug
Permanent markers or oil based paint markers
*optional paper, pen, and tape to help guide the heart shape

If you want a guide to help you with your heart shape, trace the outside of your mug handle onto a piece of paper.

Cut out the 1/2 heart shape.

Tape the 1/2 heart shape next to the handle.

Using your 1st marker, make dots around the handle and the 1/2 heart shape onto the mug.

Continue adding as many dots and colors as you wish.

Let dry 24 hours. Place the mug in a cold oven. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees and set the timer for 30 minutes. After the timer is done, turn the oven off and let the mug cool completely inside the oven.

This is what it looks like when it is done.

Hand wash only to care for it.
