I was on one of my adventures through the local charity thrift store and found these few items and just knew they’d make a fun Valentine’s Day sign.
For this project I used:
A serving tray I had on hand from Dollar Tree
A heart shaped cookie cutter
A drawer handle
A horse shoe
Apple Barrel black paint
A paint Brush
Hot glue and glue gun
I started by painting the tray with the Apple Barrel black paint and let it dry completely.
I next hot glued on the handle to be the letter “I” in my sign. You could use a stronger and more permanent adhesive if you like.
I next hot glued on the heart cookie cutter, and then the horse shoe so that the sign would say “I love you”.
I placed them in a picture stand for display. I love how it turned out and I can not only us

A good way to recycle
Thank you so much Deb.
So cute. You have the most amazing, creative mind!
Thank you so much Linda, it was fun to come up with.
Well, aren’t the clever one. Chaz!! How is your therapy going?
Thank you so much Anne. Therapy is going great, slow and steady as expected. I’m working on learning to walk again for the next 2 weeks.

HI Chas, I just LOVE your junk art Valentine sign. It gives me lots of ideas for other holidays, other messages. Thanks so much for sharing the tutorial! Thanks too for hosting this party every week. Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day! Cheryl
Thank you so much Cheryl and I’m thrilled you like it and it’s inspired you! I’m so glad to hear you are enjoying the party and loved your post on the Dollar Tree bargains!
This is so clever! I am not that creative. I can’t just walk around and see something in a pile of nothing. I usually need to start with someone else’s something and tweak it. 🙂
Here from the Pit Stop!
Thank you so much and I honestly believe in being inspired by others. Nothing wrong with that 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by.

Thank you Debbie, and you are right it’s so adjustable for so many holiday and occasions.
How fun is this?! I don’t think I am creative enough to come up with something like this, but I love it! Thanks for sharing at Sweet Inspiration!
Thank you so much Amy and I’m so pleased you like it. Thank you for stopping by.
