In today’s post, I’m sharing over 20 Dollar Tree fall crafts and easy DIY decor ideas you can create in just minutes. These are budget-friendly, simple, and most use items you can grab at Dollar Tree, Dollar General, thrift stores, or even from nature in your own backyard.

DIY Fall Room Spray

Dollar Tree spray mister

Materials:

  • Spray mister
  • Distilled or purified water
  • Essential oil (cinnamon, pumpkin spice, or your favorite scent)

Instructions:
Fill the mister with water, add a few drops of essential oil, and shake. That’s it! You now have a natural, chemical-free room spray to freshen your home for fall.

Natural Fall Wax Warmer Fragrance

Dollar General Wax Warmer

Materials:

  • Small glass jar
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Wax warmer + tealight

Instructions:
Mix the coconut oil and spices in the jar, refrigerate until solid, then pop out the piece and place it on your wax warmer. As it melts, it releases a warm, cozy fragrance.

Easy Fall Tray Display

Materials:

  • Tray (Dollar Tree or thrifted)
  • String lights (Dollar Tree)
  • Pinecones, acorns, or walnuts (from outside or Dollar Tree)
  • Cinnamon essential oil (optional for scent)

Instructions:
Place the lights inside the tray, then layer on pinecones or natural elements. Add a few drops of cinnamon oil for a chemical-free seasonal scent.

Indian Corn Candle Holders

Materials:

  • Candle holders
  • Indian corn (or popcorn kernels)
  • LED candles

Instructions:
Fill candle holders with kernels, then top with LED candles for a warm, natural glow.


Mason Jar Fall Displays

Place your jars on display. I'm placing mine on my front porch as we transition into fall.

Materials:

  • Mason jars (Dollar Tree)
  • Acorns, walnuts, or natural fillers
  • Optional: LED candles

Instructions:
Fill jars with natural finds, then place them on your mantle or table for easy, rustic decor.

Another idea is to fill thrift store finds with these natural elements for a beautiful display.


Pumpkin Wreath Form Basket

Materials:

  • Pumpkin wreath form (Dollar Tree)
  • Fruit or vegetables

Instructions:
Flip the wreath form upside down and use it as a basket. Functional, affordable, and perfect for a fall table centerpiece.


Dollar Tree Seasonal Signs

Materials:

  • Dollar Tree fall sign (pumpkin shape, mason jar, etc.)
  • Entryway table or wall space

Instructions:
Simply display for instant seasonal cheer. Pair with a thrifted tray or dish for keys.


Ceramic Pumpkin Place Markers

For this you'll need ceramic pumpkins - mine are from Dollar Tree - and a dry erase marker.

Materials:

  • Ceramic pumpkins (Dollar Tree)
  • Dry erase marker
For your table - use them as place cards/table markers.  Simply write a person's name on each pumpkin with the dry erase marker.  The best part is the dry erase comes off for tons of use...

Instructions:
Use as place markers for a fall table or let kids doodle faces for fun decor.


DIY Fall Bucket List Frame

Materials:

  • Dollar Tree picture frame
  • Printable fall bucket list (I share mine on YouTube)
  • Ribbon
  • Dry erase marker

Instructions:
Insert the list into the frame. Tie a marker with ribbon to check off activities. Erase and reuse year after year!

DIY Fall Placemats

Fall DIY placemats

Materials:

  • Dollar Tree placemats
  • Cookie cutters
  • Paint (acrylic or washable)

Instructions:
Dip cookie cutters in paint and stamp them onto the placemats to create fun fall designs. This is a simple project kids can help with, and it instantly adds a seasonal touch to your dining table or kitchen. You can mix and match shapes and colors for a playful look.


Fabric Pumpkin from Toilet Paper Roll

This is another fun project that can be used all fall, which I love and it's such an easy project to store. I've just got some fabric and a toilet paper roll.

Materials:

  • Dollar Tree fabric
  • Toilet paper roll
  • Stick from outside (stem)
  • Faux leaves (Dollar Tree)
When the season is over, put the toilet paper away, fold up your fabric, and put it along with your sticks and leaves into storage. That's it. Great project for kids parties, mom's night out, party favors, etc. If you make one I'd love to see yours!

Instructions:
Wrap the fabric around the toilet paper roll, tuck it in, add the stick stem, and finish with leaves.

Dollar Tree Seasonal Soap Dispensers

Materials:

  • Soap dispensers (pumpkin, apple, or acorn)

Pumpkin Cookie Jar Nightlight

Window Cling Decor Ideas

  • Jars, vases, candle holders, humidifiers, nightlights, trays

Instructions:
Stick clings onto household items to instantly decorate. They peel off easily when the season changes!


Fall Pillow from Felt Cutout

For this project I'm using a Dollar Tree pumpkin felt placemat, and one of their pillow covers. Open the Dollar Tree pillowcase and place wax paper inside to prevent sticking.

Materials:

  • Felt fall cutout (Dollar Tree)
  • Mod Podge
  • Pillow cover (Dollar Tree)
  • Pillow insert

Instructions:
Apply Mod Podge to the cutout, stick it to the pillow cover, let it dry, then stuff with a pillow. Instant fall accent!

Fingerprint Fall Tree Canvas

  • Canvas (Dollar Tree)
  • Paint
  • Child-safe paint for fingerprints

Instructions:
Paint a tree trunk and branches, then have kids dip fingers in paint to make leaves. A fun family keepsake!

Candle Makeovers

Apply the fall rub-on transfer to the LED candle using the provided instructions.

  • Rub-on transfer (Dollar Tree)
  • Beaded garland

Apply the transfer to the candle, wrap the base with garland, and enjoy your custom design.

Faux Tree Candle

  • Candle (Dollar Tree)
  • Contact paper
  • Black marker or paint
Wrap a beaded garland around the candle holder for an added touch of elegance.

Instructions:

Instructions:

Instructions:
Arrange small fall items on the tiers of the tray for a charming centerpiece on your kitchen counter, dining table, or entryway. I love how versatile these are—you can refresh them each week with new little touches.

Materials:

  • Fall-themed pot holder (Dollar Tree)

Instructions:
Place the pot holder on your coffee table or side tables to catch drinks and add a pop of seasonal color. It’s practical, festive, and so easy to swap out with the seasons.
