1. St. Patrick’s Day Glass Block Nightlight

Best for: Bathrooms or Entryways
One thing I love to do with window clings is utilize glass blocks. By adding a simple strand of lights inside, you create a glowing piece of decor that looks great day or night.
- The Hack: Use contact paper to give the glass a “frosted” look before adding your stickers.
- Materials: Glass block, window clings, contact paper, fairy lights.
2. Cookie Cutter Shamrock Decor

Best for: Wall Decor or Trivets
Do you want a 4-leaf clover but can’t find one? Grab four heart-shaped cookie cutters from the dollar store! When you glue the points of the hearts together, they form the perfect shamrock shape.
- Why I Love It: If you use hot glue, you can pop them apart after the holiday and use the cookie cutters for baking again!
- Materials: 4 Heart Cookie Cutters, Glue Dots/Hot Glue.
3. Easy Seasonal Candle Holder

Best for: Centerpieces or Desk Organizers
What says St. Patrick’s Day more than green shamrocks? This is the easiest craft on the list. Simply take a plain glass votive and apply gel window clings.
- Versatility: Use it to hold candles, pens, or even cotton balls in the bathroom. When March is over, peel off the clings and use it for Easter!
- Materials: Glass Votive, Jelly Window Clings.
4. Fingerprint St. Patrick’s Day Mug

Best for: Kids & Keepsakes
This is a favorite for grandparents! You can turn plain glassware into a custom mug using just green paint and your child’s thumbprint.
- The Technique: Three fingerprints in a triangle shape make a perfect clover.
- Permanence: Let it air dry for 28 days or bake it in the oven to make it dishwasher safe.
- Materials: White Mug/Glass, Green Paint (Apple Barrel), Paintbrush.
5. A Good Luck Sign for St. Patrick’s Day

Best for: Front Door Decor
I found a simple shamrock wall hanging in the dollar section and realized it needed a makeover. With a little paint and creativity, it became a welcoming sign for my front porch.
- Tip: I created both an “easy” version and a “advanced” version depending on how much time you have.
6. Engraved Glass Gifts

Best for: Personalized Gifts
Did you know you can engrave glass at home? Using a Dremel tool, you can etch names, shamrocks, or “Luck” onto dollar store glassware. It looks incredibly high-end.
- Materials: Glassware, Dremel Engraver.
7. Temporary Sticker Glass

Best for: Party Decor
If you aren’t ready to engrave permanently, just use stickers! Place heart stickers in a clover shape on a drinking glass.
- The Hack: This is a dual-purpose craft. Use hearts for Valentine’s Day, then rearrange them into clovers for St. Patrick’s Day.
- Materials: Heart Stickers, Dry Erase Marker (for the stem).
8. Leprechaun Jar & Hide-and-Seek Game

Best for: Kids’ Activities
My kids LOVED this one. Upcycle a jar into a little Leprechaun face, fill it with chocolate gold coins, and hide it for the kids to find!
- Reuse It: Make it orange for Halloween (Pumpkin) or white for Christmas (Snowman).
- Materials: Recycled Jar, Googly Eyes, Orange Pom-Pom, Green Hat (Dollar Tree).
9. Shamrock Suncatcher Frame

Best for: Windows
I used a cheap picture frame, took out the backing, and glued green rocks directly onto the glass to form clovers. When the sun hits it, it glows beautiful shades of green.
- Materials: Picture Frame, Green Glass Gems/Rocks, Hot Glue.
10. Dollar Tree Bottle Gnomes

Best for: Mantels & Shelves
Gnomes are huge right now! You can make a St. Patrick’s Day leprechaun gnome using a recycled bottle and a sock.
- The Process: Slide a sock over a bottle, add a beard cut from a dollar store teddy bear (yes, really!), and top it with a felt hat.
- Materials: Recycled Bottle, Green Felt, Seasonal Sock, Faux Fur/Teddy Bear.
