Do you have any tricks to share? Let me know in the comments below.

I opened my blinds and there was a cobweb. Yuck! So what I’m going to do is first start by wiping down the entire window, the edges, to get rid of the cobwebs first. So the first thing I’m going to do is open the window up and I’m going to spray that spot where the window touches the base. This will stop the bugs from crawling in there.

I'm also going to spray it around the entire window, the frame and everything to kind of repel the bugs from even coming back. in the first place. I also want to make sure to hit the screen.

And when it comes to bedrooms, nobody wants to find anything creepy and crawly in your beds. So I recommend spraying the baseboards as well as spraying underneath the bed.

Next up, we’re going to talk about closets. So we want to make sure to hit the bottom of the closet because that’s where they like to crawl around and stay near the edges. So spray those baseboards. And then you can also hit the cracks all the way up the edges of the closet as well.

When walking around your home, look for entry points where bugs get in. Start by wiping it clean. You want to get rid of all the pheromones that tell other bugs where to get in. Then you want to spray it with your spray. After that, seal it up so that they don't come back again. I

f you have a basement like we do, this is where all the creepy crawlies love to get in. It's damp and it's cool. From here, they branch out to the rest of our house. So we want to make sure to spray all of the baseboards all around the perimeter and underneath your furniture, around your windows, up high in the ceilings with all the creases, crevices, and cracks so that we can keep them out of our home and get rid of anything that is currently in our home.

And just as a reminder, spray those baseboards. They like to crawl right underneath of them and hide out there, so you want to make sure to get those really good. If you have unfinished areas of your basement, make sure to get into those as well. If you have an attic, same thing. Spray as much of the perimeter as you can.

Now let's talk about outside. We want to spray the outside so they don't even come in to begin with. So let's start with the front entryway. We're going to get underneath where the door opens up. We're going to spray around so we don't have as many cobwebs to clean up.

We want the flies to stay out of our house, so we're going to spray every ounce of that front entryway that we can. We're going to go around the windows as well, because then that's less cobwebs we have to clean up later. We can even spray down the entire surface of the walkway in case you have bugs and creepy crawlies there.

Now, if you have a deck or if you have an overhang, I would hit all of the edges of that as well as the ceiling and the corners to prevent any cobwebs and spiders and flies from hanging out there and making a big mess. Now, if you have other doorways, you're going to want to spray those as well. I like to spray the steps here because the steps are where sometimes the ants crawl into our house.

I also spray the entire doorway from top to bottom, including the window and all of the cracks around it. I spray all of the window edges on the outside and then I spray the entire base of my house, the whole perimeter all the way around. If you have any vents or ducts on the outside, make sure to spray those too.

This includes your washer and dryer vents, your cold air returns, and more. Look for anything else that comes into your house, whether it’s an air conditioning unit, or any hoses, cables, anything at all, and spray it.

And if you have a garage, Don't forget about it too. You'll want to spray all of the baseboards and perimeter of your garage.

And if you have a car, I have a little tip for you. You can use your spray into your car to keep the bugs out of your car as well. So just spray the floor of your car. We definitely get spiders in our home and I hate them.

So here’s a look at a few spiders I found in our house before and then after we sprayed some of what I found. Disgusting, right? But it works. So what’s the best practice now? Well, I’ll start by vacuuming all of those spiders up and wiping the floor down to get rid of those pheromones.

Now this should have gotten rid of all of the main Creepy Crawlies. So what I’m going to do after I clean is I’m going to spray my whole house down from top to bottom all over again. Now how long should this last this time? It should last about two to three months and then you’re going to want to reapply again.

Or if you see Creepy Crawlies start to show up then you’re going to want to do it again. You can also keep a small spray bottle near you so you can just squirt those on demand.

I use lavender to keep the flies out, I just spray around all my windows and doors. Also use citrus oils. skunks, raccoons are not big fans of the citrus smell.
