Place your stencil on your mirror and secure in place with the painters tape. These stencils from Cutting Edge Stencils are great because they are sturdy and easy to clean when you’re all done.

Paint your clear school glue into your mirror.

Take your time and coat the stencil well.

Add your glitter. Dump of your excess and carefully remove your stencil. Set it somewhere to dry and you’re done.

Want to know something else? If you make a mistake, no problem simply wash off your mirror and start over. It’s just glue, which means if you want to use your mirror for multiple projects through the year you can! Make a new glitter design for the different holidays, birthdays, etc.

  1. Oh Chas, this is beautiful! I really love that stencil and who would think it could look so great on a mirror with glitter.

    1. Thank you so very much Linda, it was an experiment and I loved how it turned out. I can hardly wait to make more – Valentine’s Day, Happy Birthday, or just giving the kids some glitter glue to make their own designs. Hugs my friend. 🙂
