Do you like easy recipes? Me too!!! Our family loves this easy black bean soup recipe. I love that it is inexpensive to make, you can double the batch, and you can freeze it.

  • garlic – cloves garlic, minced garlic, or powdered garlic
  • salt
  • olive oil
  • red bell pepper
  • adobo sauce
  • season all

Easy Black Bean Soup Video

Place 2 cans of black beans and 1 can of chicken broth in blender, and blend until smooth.

HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS

Place 2 cans of black beans and 1 can of chicken broth in blender, and blend until smooth. You can also use an immersion blender to achieve the desired consistency.

Pour mixture into slow cooker and add last can of black beans into the mixture.

Add your jar of salsa, 1/2 cup sour cream, and 2 Tbsp. lime juice and mix in.

  2. Oh, that looks so good! I’ve actually never made Black Bean Soup, but I would like to try it. I made Bean & Bacon soup this week but that uses white beans. I buy the dried ones, soak them, then dry and freeze them so they’re ready when I want to use them. I need to buy some black beans this week when I go shopping. Thanks for the recipe. 🙂
