Now you need to know how to roasted pumpkin, and this works great with pie pumpkins or other varieties. Grab a sharp knife to open the pumpkin, with a spoon, scoop out the seeds so you can roast pumpkin seeds, then bake that pumpkin and eat it. I think it tastes like acorn squash. This roasting technique works great for winter squashes.
You can easily use other flavor variations like cinnamon and sugar, season salt, chili powder, curry powder, garlic powder, etc.
