Chas’ Crazy Little Letter: Kitchen Hacks & An Exciting Homecoming!
Good morning and welcome to my kitchen table! Grab yourself a warm cup of coffee or a cold glass of iced tea and let’s catch up.
My heart is so incredibly full today. My husband, son, and I just got together to map out some exciting plans because our son is temporarily moving back home! His lease is ending, and he has a two-month gap before he can move into his next place. Having him under our roof again for a few weeks is going to be so special, and I can’t wait to have that extra time together.
But oh my goodness, my poor foot has been giving me a run for my money! About five weeks ago, I had a very minor medical procedure done on it. Everything was healing fine until this past week when I broke out in a massive, furiously itchy rash. It turns out I have developed contact dermatitis, which means I am now allergic to the adhesives used in athletic tape, medical tape, and standard band-aids! Who knew you could just suddenly become allergic to bandages?
Since I’ll be prepping the house for a houseguest, I spent some time deep cleaning and organizing the heart of the home: the kitchen.
