Chas’ Crazy Little Letter: A Memorial Day Tribute & Summer Inspiration!
Good morning, friends, and happy Memorial Day weekend!
Well, sometimes life throws a little curveball our way! We were supposed to be traveling together this weekend to spend some much-needed time with my husband’s side of the family. Unfortunately, I came down with a pretty nasty cold right before we were supposed to leave.
Because we didn’t want to risk getting anyone else sick, we decided the best thing was for me to stay home and rest while my husband went on his own. As many of you know, he lost his sweet mom a little over a year ago. He will be visiting her resting place to honor her this weekend, as well as spending lots of quality time with his dad and sisters. While I am so bummed I can’t be there, I am so glad he still gets to go. It’s a gentle reminder to hug your loved ones a little tighter this weekend! I’ll just be here resting up with a warm cup of tea.
