Welcome back! I am writing to you from the road this week, and my heart is so full.
⚾ Baseball & Besties
I am currently traveling with a dear friend to Omaha! Her son is playing his final year of college baseball, and I couldn’t miss the chance to cheer him on. Plus, I get to stay with another one of my absolute best friends who lives in the area.
There is nothing quite like a road trip with good friends to recharge your batteries.
🌿 Dollar Tree… or Pottery Barn?
Before I left, I wanted to tackle a design problem. Dollar Tree has amazing seasonal items, but sometimes the shiny plastics and bright colors can look a little… cheap.
I wanted to show you how to find the hidden neutral pieces (like baskets, woods, and glass) and style them so they look like expensive, high-end decor. Oh, and I also found a genius $1.25 way to hide those ugly wall outlets in your kitchen!
