Chas’ Crazy Little Letter: Flea Market Treasures & Real-Life Organizing

Share it with others!

Good morning, friends!

This past weekend was a really heart-filled one for my family. We headed out to the Mile High Flea Market to celebrate my brother’s birthday. It was always something he loved to do, so it felt like the perfect way to honor him. I just love the thrill of the hunt, don’t you? I managed to find some truly great treasures that I can’t wait to incorporate into my home.

It got me thinking… I love these outings so much, and I would love to spend more time with this wonderful community. If I were to put together some sort of “Chas’ Crazy Creations” retreat, would you ever want to come along? We could go treasure hunting, do some crafting, or just share tips over coffee. If that sounds like fun, tell me in the comments what kind of things you’d love to do together!

And oh, Colorado weather is at it again! My apple tree is covered in the most beautiful blossoms, but we have snow and rain in the forecast. I’m crossing my fingers that the blossoms survive so we actually get some apples this year!

We’ve all been there—buying a “handy” container only to realize it doesn’t actually fit or hold up. This week, I’m taking you into my home to show you the Dollar Tree products I actually use in my kitchen, pantry, and junk drawers. These are the budget-friendly workhorses that truly make a difference!

🌸 Craft of the Week

Now you can make it any desired length short or use a longer piece of ribbon, as it depends on where you'll be hanging it. I hung mine outside, you can hang them on your front porch, or make a kissing ball ornament for everyone's Christmas trees.

If you have a few extra plastic bins or even some tin cans lying around, you have to see this “oldie but goodie” project. It’s a simple way to turn trash into treasure with just a little bit of paint and creativity.

I really want to know—would you be interested in a crafter’s retreat or a flea market meet-up? And if we did get together, what is the one craft or skill you’d want us to work on? Let me know in the comments below! I read every single one.

Sending Hugs,

Chas
