Easy DIY Snowman Mug

Do you like easy gift ideas? I like making my own gifts for the holidays, and today I’m sharing my easy snowman mug with you.

You’ll need:

A plain white mug – Walmart sells these for .88!  Otherwise the Dollar Tree has them as well.

Sharpie Markers or Sharpie Paint Markers

Winter Bundle Offer

Draw your snowman face onto your mug.

Place your mug in a cool oven.  Turn oven on at 350 degrees, and set the timer for 30 minutes.  When the timer is done, turn the oven off, and let the mug cool in the oven completely.

Keep for yourself, or add hot cocoa & a spoon and give it as a gift.  This is a great project to do with kids as well.

    Can the mugs be cleaned in the dishwasher? These are adorable ????

    1. Hi Stephanie, thank you. They will need to be hand washed. If you use glass paint, and follow the instructions with the glass paint for setting the paint – those are often dishwasher safe.

    2. Stephanie – I just learned that Mod Podge makes a dishwasher safe version. Perhaps if you coat the mug (except where you drink) with this Mod Podge – then it can will be dishwasher safe…
