Creative Minds, Do you have everything you need?
Are you feeling creative? We love that! Creative minds are one of the best parts of life as you really get to express who you are and watch your ideas come to life. It’s wonderful for those people who love to be creative, but what do you actually need to get started? We’ve talked a lot about how to do certain things, but we’ve never actually talked about what you’re going to need, so let’s do it now!

The Motivation
First, you are going to need the motivation to do it. This can be hard when you are going to be tackling bigger projects for a number of reasons. The first is that you may look at the project, see that it is a huge task and just tell yourself you will do it later. Or, if you do manage to start then it’s possible that you will want to give up halfway through when you haven’t gotten to the part that you enjoy yet. We’re not going to lie to you because when you don’t have the motivation, crafts are tough. But, that’s why we recommend you don’t start unless you are excited for it. To create something amazing, you have to want to do this.
The Materials
Don’t forget to link to ThriveCart – Book
Have you thought about the materials that you are going to be using for your next project? You might want printable HTV, you may want to use epoxy, or whatever release you can think of. Go wild, go out of your comfort zone, depending on what you are creating of course. As long as you know what your materials are going to be used for, then purchase them in order to get ready to get started.
Make sure that you think about the cost of the materials before you order them though. There are some places online where you can get some normally expensive materials for a decent price.
The Ideas
Finally, do you have an idea of what you are going to be doing? Is it in your head? Have you drawn it out? Are you planning to wing it when the time comes? None of this is wrong per se, but if you are winging it then you have got to be sure. Even then, you will have some kind of idea in your head so it’s important that you know roughly how you are planning to bring this idea to life.
If you are going to be following a plan, then ensure you have put details on it as much as you can. You don’t want to be scratching your head an hour into the project trying to remember what your vague plans mean.
We hope that you have found this article helpful, even if it is a little different from our tutorial posts. Hopefully, now you see that there are a number of things that you will need if you want to get creative, and each is as important as the other! We wish you the very best of luck and hope that you get excited about this sooner rather than later.

I always have great ideas but the execution and follow-through are when I seem to come short. Thanks for these ideas, Chas.
