No Sew Outdoor Pillows With Journal/Pen Pockets

Grab a pair of old jeans and an old shower curtain to make really fun and useful no sew outdoor pillows with a space to hold an journal and a pocket for a pen. Plus, they are waterproof

Equipment

  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Fabric Scissors

Materials

  • Shower Curtain
  • Old Jeans
  • Hook and Loop Fasteners

Instructions

  • Place your pillow on top of the shower curtain and cut it to be a few inches larger than the pillow on all sides.
  • Use hot glue on 3 of the 4 sides to hold together.
  • Measure adhesive hook and loop fasteners for the last opening.
  • Peel off the backing of the adhesive and place it inside the opening of the pillow case.
  • Cut out both pockets to use as the pen & pencil holders. 
  • Cut off the bottom of the 2 legs.
  • Cut them open, lay them flat, and cut on either side of the seams.
  • Hot glue the pocket on 3 sides to the shower curtain and leave the top side open.
  • Glue the larger journal pocket on 3 sides. Leave the top side open.
  • Put the pillow inside the case and press it closed. 
  • Add a journal to the bottom pocket, and a pen and pencil to the top.
