1/4sliced onion
3cupsvegetable broth
2cans black beans rinsed 1/4 sliced onion
3cupsvegetable broth
2cans black beans rinsed and drained
2cupscooked pumpkin or squash of your choiceyou could use 1 can of pumpkin as well
1cupchopped celery
1cupchopped tomatoes
Add seasonings to taste - saltpepper, chili powder, dried oregano, cumin, garlic
Optional - add turkeychicken, or beefand drained

Place all of the ingredients above in a slow cooker and place on high for 4 hours or preferably on low for 6-8 hours.
