I started with a small carton and cleaned it out once it was empty.

I cut the top off the carton.

I placed the wick in the center of the box and used the wick holder to keep the wick in space.

I added the soy wax to the stainless container that the kit came with.

I placed a pot with water in it on the stovetop and waited for it to boil. I then placed the stainless container into the boiling water and stirred constantly with the spoon provided and watched the wax melt.

Once the wax was melted, I placed crushed ice into the carton. If you didn’t want to make an ice candle you could skip this step. I will tell you I used too much ice and it made the wax a little crumbly.

I poured the melted wax into the carton over the ice. If you were skipping the ice you would just pour the wax into this form.

Let the wax cool for several hours or overnight. Carefully peel the box open. If making an ice candle some melted water will pour out of the candle.

You can remove the wick holder and trim the wick.
