With just a few supplies from Dollar Tree, I made this easy star on a budget. It even that lights!

Run to the dollar store and grab some hangers and zip ties for this awesome DIY
Assemble Star
You’ll need 10 hangers in a color of your choice, I’m using white hangers. Start with two hangers and place them in this order so that the hooks are up and they’re in a triangle shape.

Using white zip ties, start with three zip ties and place one at the top corner where they overlap and then one at each of the hooks. Now that they’re in place go ahead and zip tie each of those sections closed. Cut off the excess.
Repeat this process for all 10 hangers so that in the end you’ll have five sets.

Lay them all out into a star shape. Zip tie each of the corner sections together so that the star would be completely connected. I cut off the excess zip ties.
Add lights!
If you want to take it up a notch, add white lights with a white wire and wrap them all around the star. This is decor you could use for the 4th of July, Christmas, or all year round.
