What are your favorite things to harvest? I’m busy picking the apples from our apple tree (what the squirrels, birds, and others haven’t already taken), as well as harvesting whatever I can from our small garden. I didn’t plant much this year with all of the cancer treatments. I knew I wouldn’t have time or energy to tend to it. I planted a lot of tomatoes and basil and am enjoying those as well as freezing them.

Thank you so much for featuring my Small Batch Refrigerator Dill Pickles! I am back this week with Jalapeño Pickle Relish – trying to use up the rest of the cucumbers!

i was sweetly surprised this week with 6 more tomatoes in the garden so I made to more jars of jam, My basil usually blossom out of control and is harvested will into October and frozen for all year use, this year I didn’t even get a handful of healthy leaves, darn weather
here’s hoping next summer is much better for you~
I can so relate to your garden dilemma, not much out here but some tomatoes. I was grateful for at least those. Thanks for sharing and I am looking forward to checking out your posts.
Thanks for hosting, Chas!
Thank you so much for joining Michelle, can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to.
Thank you so much for featuring our Butterfinger Delight. It is such a nice and fluffy dessert! I actually love harvesting any produce that I can get my hands on this time of year. I think that right now, I am enjoying the peaches and apples the most. Unfortunately my son’s dog dug up most of what I planted in my garden this year. He even ate my zucchini. I am blessed to have good neighbors who manage to provide me with a fair amount of produce. I think that they give it to me because they know that I just hate to see it go to waste, and some of them are getting older and don’t have as much need for it.
I watched your you tube video on cleaning. It was very informative. Thank you for the information. Thank you too for hosting the party, and have a great week!
You are most welcome Amy and thank you for all the kind words and sharing with me. I’m so sorry about your son’s dog. We have squirrels that love to grab apples off our tree, take one bite and then they fall down – so they move onto the next. So frustrating. I’m glad you have neighbors that love to share, that’s so nice.
