Happy May Day!  Did you ever deliver flowers on May Day, ring the doorbell, and run?  I remember being taught that when I was a kid growing up in Minnesota.  I have had flowers delivered to me once as an adult on May day from a dear friend who also grew up in he mid-west.  It was such a treat.  This week is also my birthday!  I’m looking forward to some family time.

Welcome to the To Grandma’s House We Go link party. This blogger party is all about you sharing your posts about homemade, homemaking, DIY, recycling, upcycling, before and afters (of rooms, furniture, whatever), build projects, vintage, any kind of creative, frugal, time saving, money saving or green advice, canning and old fashioned recipes. Going back to simpler times, simpler days where we used all that we had and never bought new until there was absolutely no choice.

What I’ve been up to this week:

Upcycled Puzzle Serving Tray (7) let tray dry

Upcycled Puzzle Serving Tray

13 Vacuum Cleaning Tips

Upcycled Thrift Store Candle Holders

There will be features every week and they will be pinned on the To Grandma’s House We Go Pinterest page. The party will be shared on Facebook and Twitter!

My Feature’s this week:

Tree Slice Hairpin Table DIY – Kippi at Home

Key Lime Dessert Bars – Mrs. Kringle’s Kitchen

DIY Rustic Wooden Serving Tray – Tee Diddly Dee
