I love the way the colors glow when the candles are lit.

Fall Candle with Leaves

Fall

You can make a fall candle with real or fake leaves using the same technique that is pretty easy.  The best part is you can use a recycle jar and it will cost little to nothing to make!  Great project to do with kids, friends night out, centerpieces, and party favor.

You can add some pumpkin lines to the back side if you want and let that side face forward for the fall.

Flower Pot to Solar Pumpkin

Fall

I love fall, Halloween, and solar lights! Every year I want to make my walkway light up for fall and especially for safety on Halloween night when the kids are out trick or treating. I have come up with a way to merge all 3 of the things I love and make it functional for Halloween evening!

Put your light source inside, light it and that is all there is too it!

Easy Seasonal Candle Holder

Fall

This project is very easy, inexpensive, and changeable with every season! You only need a few items – a candle holder, window clings, and light source. This will make a great for a gift idea, crafting night, kid’s project, etc.

I have had mine for years now and the leaves have kept well. Happy Fall Y'all!

How To Make A Fun Fall Leaf Sun Catcher

Fall

Preserving leaves and making a sun catcher is inexpensive, and a great project for adults, families together, kids, etc.

Are you ready for a laundry room makeover? Updating your space doesn't have to cost a fortune or be hard.

Easy Inexpensive Laundry Room Makeover on a Budget

Home Renovation

When we bought our house almost 17 years ago it was only 1 1/2 years old.  Sadly it was not in the best of shape when we bought it.  Over the years we have updated it, fixed things that broke, all the things you do to your home.  Then there is my entry way laundry room.  This is not a room I spend “quality” time in.  I have mostly ignored it, done a few things here and there to better organize it, etc. Recently I noticed that the cabinets were turning yellow in between the cracks.  It started to annoy me and I decided to give the room a little love – but on a very tight budget.

You'll need: A 1 gallon bucket Ammonia (mine came from Dollar Tree) 1 Table spoon Water Washcloth Old cotton-shirt Squeegee (mine came from IKEA)

Streak Free Windows and Mirrors

Cleaning

I have been using this simple and inexpensive solution to clean my windows and mirrors and it leaves them streak free!!!

I love how this turned out. Now I have artwork created by my family, filled with love, and preserved their fingerprints.

Family Fingerprint Tree

Fall

I love making things that bring my family together.  I am always looking for ways to preserve our kid’s growing up and the family we have made.  This is easy art the whole family can create, and have a fingerprint keepsake.

When the season is over, put the toilet paper away, fold up your fabric, and put it along with your sticks and leaves into storage. That's it. Great project for kids parties, mom's night out, party favors, etc. If you make one I'd love to see yours!

Easy Fabric Pumpkins!

Fall

These pumpkins are easy for anyone including kids to make. They are a useful item (hides toilet paper), and they pack away nicely at the end of the season.

Place them where you want them displayed.

Faux Tree Candle Holders

Fall· Winter

I recently made some real tree branch candle holders but I realized not everyone wants to saw and drill.  I came up with a way for you to still enjoy the same look in a simpler and inexpensive way to make them yourself!
