Up-cycling a Thrift Store Chair
I picked up this chair at the thrift store for $1.99! Up-cycling it was easy, just needed little fixing and a little paint!

Creating a seasonal look in your home doesn’t have to be hard. Just a few simple items put together can create ambiance in your home. This project is easy, great for decorations, party craft, or a gift.
I found this vintage letter holder at Good Will for $2! I knew I wanted to up-cycle it just in time for Valentine’s Day (and I will be able to use it all year).
I love all the button art there is out there, but I didn’t want to make another piece of framed artwork. I decided to make a button art candle holder for Valentine’s Day instead.
I was asked to create a light up canvas art piece for Valentine’s day on a Hometalk Live show. This is easy light up love art for your home and not just for Valentine’s Day but good for all year!

Winter is coming, and I’ll admit I’m not a fan of the cold! How about you? With the holidays coming it’s time to make some easy homemade snowman candles for the holidays. What I like about these snowman candles (besides it’s easy & very affordable), is that you can keep it up even after the holidays. I keep a lot of my snowmen stuff up and out until it’s time for spring decorating. Â
I have made several of these light up canvas art pieces and I’ll be doing a new one for an upcoming Hometalk Live show. I am posting the journey towards my Live show, and after the Live show I’ll post the final product here. It has been a process and journey to figure out just how to make the idea in my head come to life on the canvas. I’m sure that has happened to all of you as well right? You’ll see the whole process here, you can laugh and cry with me 🙂 Â
A little Rit Dye, some clothes pins, a wreath form, and a few finishing touches and you have a sunflower wreath. Inexpensive and easy to make!
