I poured Pledge Floor Care Cleaner into the vase.

I poured Pledge Floor Care Cleaner into the vase. You can also use liquid hairspray for the same effect. For a more permanent solution, you can use Mod Podge.

I spun the vase around until the Pledge had coated the entire inside of the vase and dumped out the excess.

Using a black permanent marker I drew 2 eyes for my ghost. You can have great fun creating different faces for your ghost using buttons, paint, or adhesive black felt that you can cut in any shape using a pair of scissors.

How do you make ghost crafts?

I have several projects that are easy ghost projects, some of these projects are great for kids too.

You could also create a ghost by using some of the following supplies:

  • a white sheet over a tomato cage with a foam ball and place it in your front yard for some outdoor Halloween ghosts
  • a plastic bag to make a hanging ghost

In addition to making these fun ghosts, you can add some other items to make your front porch or front yard spooky fun for trick-or-treaters.

  • lantern lights
  • ghost garlands
  • paper lanterns
  • hanging witch hats
  • fake cobwebs
  • plastic spiders

I hope this inspires you to create some ghost crafts of your own.

I think your ghost is cute! I was thinking, could this work on something that was two-tiered? I w as thinking about a snowman. A round ornament or small bowl for a head, and a jar or bottle for a body. I’m not sure how you’d light it, though, and that’s the best part of the effect…? What do you think?
