Do you like easy DIY Christmas gift ideas? This easy glitter snowman & tree are inexpensive and super easy to make. Great for kids, girls night out, party favors, gifts, winter decor, etc.

Let’s start with the DIY Snowman

You'll need: Glass Snowman (Thrift Store) Pledge Floor Care Finish (Walmart) White & Black Glitter (Hobby Lobby) Black Permanent Marker or Black Acrylic Paint White iridescent glitter nail polish - optional Flicker Candle (Dollar Tree) - optional

You’ll need:
Glass Snowman (Thrift Store)
Pledge Floor Care Finish (Walmart)
White & Black Glitter (Hobby Lobby)
Black Permanent Marker or Black Acrylic Paint
White iridescent glitter nail polish – optional
Flicker Candle (Dollar Tree) – optional

Pour the Pledge into the snowman.

Pour the Pledge into the snowman.

Swirl the Pledge all over the glass.

Swirl the Pledge all over the glass.

Pour the extra Pledge back into the jar.

Pour the extra Pledge back into the jar.

Pour glitter into the glass jar. Shake the glitter all over the jar. I did black glitter in the hat, and white glitter in the body.

Dump the extra out and if it's dry you can put it back in your glitter jar.

Let the inside dry completely - about 24 hours.

I colored the face and scarf in with a permanent marker. You could use acrylic paint as well. Once that dried I coated it with white iridescent glitter nail polish. The nail polish came from the Dollar Tree.

Now to make the DIY Christmas Tree

  2. These are ADORABLE! I love them. Just when I was thinking that you could put some gems on the tree, (having spent time at Dollar Tree where they have sticky gems for kids) in the NEXT picture you showed the gems on the tree! Great minds think alike my friend. 🙂

    I’m not much of a crafter, and this may be a silly question, but does the floor finish act as a clear glue? Would Mod Podge work? They are really cute and look very easy to do. Thanks for sharing your crafts.
